“Last summer I had the opportunity to organize a trip with a few of my friends to World Youth Day in Poland. Since we were going to Europe anyways, we decided to spend two more weeks traveling around before WYD began. The cheapest flight to Europe at that time providentially landed in Rome, and without any ulterior reasons we immediately took it. Two months before going we found out about the International Formators Course for Regnum Christi Members in Rome, but honestly that didn’t really change our plans because every year we would go to our local courses and are very involved in our own sections. This being the case, we couldn’t see why we would we take a trip to Europe to learn, when it seemed better to go for travel.
Well now I can say… how wrong we were! In the end, two of us decided to go to the IFC and I must say that it was the best decision I could have made. It was the best course that I have been on! We learned about the history of the Church and our own movement, the new ideologies that we will be facing, and the apostolic methodology of RC, but above all (and this was what made the course excellent) we were able to meet Regnum Christi members from other cities and countries. In these conversations were able to see how they lived their vocation to Regnum Christi in their particular locations and how they overcame the particular challenges there. We all learned so much from one another, and the activities, such as “Rally through Rome”, truly helped us get to know each other better and become united as real brothers in Christ.
So if you who are reading this are doubting: if the IFC is for you, if it really is worth it, if it is as good as it sounds, well I can tell you…. IT IS! If you have the chance to go, don’t waste it. I assure you that it will be one of the best experiences of your life, and where you will be able to form yourself and see Christ in your Regnum Christi brothers.”

“When they invited me to the Formators course I did not initially feel very attracted. I didn’t know if I would like this idea of having many conferences, praying and going to “Summer School”, because that is how the course was presented to me. However, they also told me that we would be able to see the Pope, and since I didn’t get the chance to see him in Mexico I was dying to see him, so I decided to go. When we arrived everything was very relaxed and I began to meet the other young men who would be with us, and little by little we began to get along great! We visited a few Italian cities and we got to know Rome as if we lived there. If there is one thing in particular that I can say about the IFC is that the formation which one receives there is at an advanced level and helps you to be able to think at a higher level than you already do! Another thing which I loved was the diversity of cultures, ideas, way of thinking, traditions and persons who all lived together and treated each other like brothers. Here is where you could feel that everyone truly looked to follow Christ and be like him!
And so, I invite you to get excited to live this experience which will help you for the rest of your life; you will learn incredible things and will get to know amazing people!”

“The experience of the International Formators Course was much more than just a course. Besides having first class workshops with the best speakers, I was also able to encounter an RC Movement which is found all over the world, working and fighting for the same ideal which I do every day, namely establishing the Kingdom of Christ on the earth. It was incredible to see how young people in Italy, the Philippians and in other countries around the world are fighting to grow spiritually and humanly in order to become better versions of themselves and be the best soldiers which Christ needs now and in the near future.
It was a course where I was finally able to understand, after many years of searching, that life is not worth anything if it is not given up for Christ.”
