The International Formators Course (IFC) is an international apostolate of the RC. It is conducted by the Life and Mission area, an office of the RC Federation.
Life and Mission has an advisory council for the IFC, formed by Legionary priests and brothers who have participated in the program. This council supports the Life and Mission area for the proper development of the IFC.
Mission
To form and inspire the Regnum Christi formators so that they renew their longing to make the Kingdom of Christ present in people, society, and in their own hearts (cf. EFRC 36).
Based on this principle, there are four general objectives around which the whole formative program is developed:
-
Create opportunities for a real, personal and transforming encounter with Christ, in which the formator discovers his vocation to be a beloved son of the Father, in Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit (cf. LG 7).
-
Facilitate greater self-knowledge in each formator, together with the awareness of their vocation and mission within Regnum Christi and in the Church.
-
Offer intellectual formation based on the triad God-Man-World, which will help them to read the world, history, and the signs of the times in light of the Gospel.
-
Ensure that the formators experience the joy of living the faith in community, aware that we are part of a spiritual family, in the Church (cf. EIRC 17).
