IFC Syllabus
The formative program of the IFC is validated by the Institute of Religious Sciences of the Ponifical University Regina Apostolorum, which grants 4 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System). Each credit corresponds to 25 hours of academic formation. The distribution of study is divided in the following way:
- 52 hours of lessons in front of the class (conferences, classes, analyses of ethics cases).
- 26 hours of formative activities (workshops, group discussions, various readings).
- 19 hours of Study Field (cultural outings, pilgrimages).General DescriptionIt is a formation and leadership course given in Rome and directed towards formators of Regnum Christi (members with apostolic and formative responsibilities). Its principle object is to deepen the knowledge of these three areas: God – Man – The World. The course is articulated with the questions: Who is God? Who is Man? and What is the world that I live in?:
- In the first place, to allow them to recognize man as a creature of God, their divine sonship and their call to holiness.
- In second place, the program gives the participants tools for self-analysis and self-knowledge. It puts emphasis on knowing their own qualities and defects, so as to enable an accurate self-image.
- In third place, it offers a vision of contemporary society, considering the following dimensions: politics, economy, and religion.
As a result of this analysis, the figure of the Regnum Christi Formator is proposed as a response to current needs of the society we live in. Because of this, the history and context of the Movement, the methodology of apostolate and teamwork will also be deepened.
The course will offer different lectures given by experts in these topics, as well as workshops and dynamics where the participants can acquire skills and abilities, as well as share methodologies, ideas, proposals and conclusions.
Finally, participants will be asked to analyze and synthesize this information, so that they form their own criteria based on these questions. A true criterion, where they do not only listen to the position of the exhibitors, but find pillars and convincing points of reference for their integral formation as solid men and members of Regnum Christi.
Language
English and Spanish, with simultaneous translation in both languages.

Methodology
The methodology of the course in founded on four pillars of education according to Jaques Delors:
- Learning to know and think: ethical case method in conferences.
- Learning to act: proposal and realization of different activities or dynamics by the participants.
- Learning to live together: feedback and team building in terms of the interpersonal relationship ofthe participants.
- Learning to be: prayer, spiritual direction, dialogue, psychometric exams.
The didactic format of the course is based on an interactive methodology; conferences, dynamics and workshops, in addition to certain readings, looking for the participants to be the protagonists of their own training. In addition, there will be some cultural visits to reinforce themes such as Church history, while the participants are imbued with the artistic and cultural heritage of the place, in order to enrich their integral formation.
